Recycled Bowling Pins

April 20, 2020

Earth Day is April 22, but we’re turning it into Earth Week! Our blog will be filled with projects using recycled materials, science projects demonstrating pollution and more videos from our entertaining staff! For our second installment we’re turning trash into a new bowling set!

Messy level: 3 (because of spray paint/paint)
(5 = Super messy. 1 = Not messy at all.)

  • Toilet paper rolls or empty water bottles
  • Spray paint or paint
  • Paint brush
  • Ball

1. If using a water bottles, remove labels.

2. Using paint and a paintbrush, paint the entire bottle or tube a base color/primer coat. (This will make step 3 easier.)

3. Get creative! Make your pins into animals or cartoon characters. Solid colors work, too! Enjoy your new bowling pin set.
