New Year’s Party Cracker

  • toilet paper roll tubes
  • colored tissue paper
  • ribbon, craft twine or pipecleaners
  • scissors
  • pompoms, confetti, or paper scraps
  • candy (optional)

    1. Lay your paper roll in the middle of your tissue paper. (We cut our tissue paper into 10″x20″ sheets.)
    2. Roll the tube until completely covered.
    3. Use ribbon, craft twine or pipecleaners to fasten  one of the ends.
    4. Stuff your party cracker with pompoms, confetti, or paper scraps. (We find pompoms make less of a mess!) You can even add candy, a fortune, or a joke for an extra surprise.
    5. Close up your open cracker end with more ribbon and you’re ready for our Virtual Countdown to Noon!
