We are starting extra programs at the museum to supplement home learning for students! Our current programs will be geared towards ages 5-8, but are open to all elementary-age students and will have a general theme. No matter what the theme is, we will be incorporating math, reading, and writing into each lesson to help students with practice. Each homeschool session can be attended regardless of whether your student has attended other programs at the museum. For questions, contact the education coordinator Molly Traugott at education@niantickids.org.

This class will focus on bringing out the creative streak in all of us! The first 3 weeks will focus on stories by different children’s authors: Jan Brett, Jory John and Steven Kellogg. During the last week of class we will be helping your student write their own story in the style of one of the authors. This class will be great for some reading and writing practice! There will be a snack break and bathroom break in the middle of the session, so please have your student bring a snack.
