Join us for a summer filled with science, learning and wonder at the Children’s Museum of Southeastern CT. We’ll be exploring a different science each week from July 1 to August 23 (from 9:30am-4pm) with demonstrations (from 10:30am-3:30pm) and hands-on activities. All activities are FREE with Museum admission thanks to the generosity of Pfizer, our Summer Science Days sponsor.

Astronomy – July 15-19

Children become astronauts as they take a tour of our solar system. They will learn what stars and constellations are and make their own constellation viewer. Visitors can try some space-related experiments and explore eclipses through our Bear’s Shadow activity. Join in the celebration of the 50^th Anniversary of Apollo’s Moon Landing by learning the phases of the moon, making craters in moon sand, creating with moon paint and touching our simulated moon samples.
