Summer Science Days!

A summer filled with science, learning and wonder. We’ll be exploring a different science each week from July 3 to August 25. Come learn with us!

Biology is the study of living things and their vital processes. This week, children will learn about life cycles of plants and animals.

There will be opportunities for children to dissect seeds in order to find the baby plant inside, to identify different plant parts using a root tank, and to plant and work in the museum garden. During this week, we will also take a look at the lifecycles of butterflies, honey bees, ladybugs and frogs.

There will be daily Meet the Animals demonstrations with our Museum residents which include a leopard gecko, Russian tortoise, Australian tree frogs, bearded dragon, and Caribbean hermit crabs.

All activities free with Museum admission.
