July 24, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until July 28, 2017

Summer Science Days!

A summer filled with science, learning and wonder. We’ll be exploring a different science each week from July 3 to August 25. Come learn with us!

This sizzling program explores the power of electricity and magnetism through plasma balls, Jacob’s Ladder, magnetic rings and more!

Experience electricity in action through our exciting Van de Graaff Generator demonstrations. Children can become part of a Human Circuit or use Snap Circuits to make a light glow, rotate a fan or start a motor. We’ll even try to harvest electricity from everyday foods! Guests will also have the chance to experiment and build with magnets along with creating their own magnet craft to take home.

All activities free with Museum admission.
