Parties at the Museum!

Non-Private
Party Days & Times
Saturday: 10am-12pm & 1-3pm
Please note: Museum is open to the public at these times. For Private Parties see Private Party information.
- Reservations are for 2 hours.
- There is a fee of $50 for each quarter hour after allotted time.
Non-Private Party Plan
Fee: $240 ($210 for Members)
What’s Included
- Museum is open to the public during Non-Private Parties.
- Museum admission and 2-hour classroom rental for up to 12 children. Each additional child is $10 up to a maximum of 18 children. (Includes setup and breakdown time.)
- The classroom is available for you and your party guests to enjoy your birthday refreshments.
- One (1) free Admit 2 for 1 Museum Admission Pass per child for a future visit.
- Color-on-me table covering.
- Adults attending the party are admitted free.
Book a Non-private Party
Private Parties
Tuesday – Saturday: 5-7pm
Sunday:
10-12pm, 1-3pm & 4-6pm

- One (1) free Admit 2 for 1 Museum Admission Pass per child for a future visit.
- Color-on-me table covering.
- Adults attending the party are admitted free.
- Museum is NOT open to the public during Private Parties.
Deluxe Private Party Plan
Fee: $440 ($410 for Members)
What’s Included
- Exclusive use of the entire Museum for you and your party. Maximum of 25 children. (For 2 hours, includes setup and breakdown time.)
- A 30-minute, educator-led themed program, including a craft. (see sidebox for theme options)
- Paper products for each child.
- Color-on-me table covering, plus crayons.
- One (1) free Admit Two Museum Admission Pass per child for a future visit.
Deluxe Private Party Themes
- Meet the Animals: Meet and learn about two of the Museum’s resident animals.
- Fairy Tales: Listen to a fairy tale and then follow clues around the Museum in search of a hidden surprise.
- Magical Science: Become a magician’s assistant and determine whether science or magic is being used in the day’s experiments/demonstrations.
- Dinosaurs: Listen to a dinosaur story and go on a dinosaur nest hunt before hatching dinosaur eggs.
Facility Rental
Fee: Starting at $400
- Interested in renting the Museum for an event other than a birthday party? You can rent the Museum for a 2-hour time slot for just $400 for up to 50 people.
- A Facility Rental takes place anytime the Museum is closed. The classroom space is available for you and your guests to enjoy refreshments.
- Additional guests: $5/person up to a maximum of 100 people.

Additional Party Details
- Party host may arrive 15 minutes prior to party start time. Guests may not enter Museum until start time.
- The Museum’s exhibit spaces provide endless opportunities for children to play and explore. Additional party games and crafts aren’t necessary.
- Feel free to bring your own cupcakes, ice cream cups, and pizza!
- Handing out goody-bags and favors at the end of your party will eliminate lost items throughout the Museum.
Cancellation Policy
All parties are 50% refundable if they are canceled at least 4 weeks prior to the event date. A cancellation request made with less than 4 weeks’ notice will not receive a refund. Parties must be paid in full upon signing of contract.
