Registering for Classes

Where discoveries are made and fun just happens!

Toddler Classes are informal opportunities for toddlers to be part of a group. Each class emphasizes process and exposure to new and different materials, plus stories and a craft!

For preschoolers, our Little Scientists explore scientific concepts through inquiry, hands-on activities and literature. Our deliciously delightful Little Chefs classes help children learn math and chemistry as they bake their way through each lesson!

  • All classes/events must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Child substitutions are not allowed for programs, workshops or events.
  • If patrons need to withdraw from a class, program, workshop or event, they must call the Museum at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit.
  • Museum credit is not given after the first class of a series.
  • Museum programs often have waits lists. If you know your child will be absent from a class, please let us know ahead of time so we can attempt to fill the opening.
  • Classes need a minimum of five children enrolled for them to run. In the event a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, weather or educator illness, the registrant may receive a credit or refund.

Please check class times/days carefully as some may have changed. If registering by phone, please have a credit card ready. Pay by cash, check, or credit card if coming to the Museum to register.

Drop-Off Policy

We will allow parents to drop off their child while they attend a 45-minute or longer program. We ask that children be able to use the toilet alone (we will escort them to the bathroom, but not enter) and that your child feel safe and comfortable without your presence in the building. Parents will need to leave contact information and confirm at the front desk prior to leaving the building.

Parents must be reachable by phone at all times during the class and arrive back at the museum 5 minutes prior to the end of class.
